The Zambesi
Company was formed in 1993 by a group of West Indians, who had
grown up in an area steeped with African folk lore and home
remedies. " Bush" remedies had been common cure-alls and/or
beauty treatments in the West Indies home.
The Zambesi
Company had sought to bring to the marketplace the finest line
of Hair and Skin products, using Nature's own ingredients in
combination with science, to produce products catering to the
person of African Heritage.
The eight products
launched into the Caribbean markets in June 1994 were favorably
received, soon establishing Zambesi as a name to be respected in
the field of Beauty products for the people of African Heritage. |
